During the autumn break, Munttheater hosts National Children’s Theater Week from 15 to 22 October. Enjoy free kids’ activities, creative workshops, and family shows. All professional family performances are free for children aged 2–12—making it easy to enjoy theater together.

Interactive Science Show
Explore the wonders of sound and silence through fun experiments and challenges. Can you complete the silent obstacle course?
Free for kids between 7-10 YO. Tickets for adults are €10.00, including a drink.
Tuesday, 14 october 2025
Based on the beloved Dutch books, this magical musical is filled with catchy songs, enchanting costumes, and a story of friendship and adventure.
Free for kids between 5-12YO. Tickets for adults are €28.50, including a drink.
Wednesday, 15 october 2025
A wild, musical journey through the African savannah! Colorful costumes, upbeat rhythms, and lots of animal fun.
Plus: free jungle-themed activities in the foyer before and after the show (face painting, games, crafts).
Free for kids between 3-12YO. Tickets for adults are €18.50, including a drink.

A playful, energetic dance theater performance—plus a free dance workshop for kids before the show! A heartwarming story about two brothers dreaming big in a magical forest. 'Klein, klein vogeltje' was nominated for the Young Zwaan Dansproductie 2025.
Free for kids between 4-12 YO. Tickets for adults are €10, with code URBAN2025 (book before 9 October).

Terms & Conditions – Free Kids Entry
Free admission for children aged 2–12 to selected family shows marked with the “Kinderen gratis” icon on the Munttheater website.
Offer does not apply to shows organized by external renters.
Children 13 and older pay regular ticket prices.
Babies under 2 are not allowed in the theater hall.
Every visitor, including children on your lap, needs their own ticket for safety reasons.
Children aged 2 and up must have their own seat (booster seats available). Check the age recommendation for each show when booking.
Munttheater may refuse entry to visitors who do not meet the age requirements.
